My mom and I had been collecting the $1 off coupons for these at Coupons.com so we ended up getting them all for FREE. There is no overage however so they just adjust the coupon price for the item. These are sure to go within the next couple of days so better get them quick!

I was watching an episode of Good Eats the other day and got a hankering to make some soft pretzels. The recipe can be found here and most of the ingredients are readily available in any kitchen. The only problem I ran into was that my dough was really sticky and every time I went to form the pretzels and then move them to the baking sheet, they would fall apart. I added a little more flour and decided to make them into sticks (or logs) instead. I also sprinkled a little sugar with the salt to cover the pretzels before baking.

What do you think? They are SOOOO good! Hubby made a nice dipping sauce with some melted butter, parmesan cheese, and garlic. A nice honey mustard would also be great.

What do you like on your pretzels? Looking forward to hear if you have tried this and what you put on it. Comment below!

Remember how I wrote about Amigos restaurant in Waterford Lakes? Well, today there is a Groupon for $20 worth of food for only $10! This deal expires in 2 days, so get on it!

One of my favorite things to do is get free things, and my most favorite is Amazon gift cards. If I build a up a pretty good stash of gift card credits, then any time I need something, whether it be a movie (streaming or dvd), music, books, or whatever, it’s free! So far I have found 2 places where I can get gift cards with just a few moments of my time.

My Points– they will send you a few emails a day. If you click the link in most of the emails, you get 5 points. If you take advantage of the offer you get more. I usually just get points from emails, and it takes me about a year to get enough for a $25 dollar gift card. However, I just discovered Bzzagent from this blog posting. Sometimes Bzzagent will award you a few Mypoints for doing surveys and such! Find out more ways to earn Mypoints here.

SwagBucks– there are so many ways to earn Sb’s and you can learn some of them here. The least time consuming was using the SwagBucks search and getting points for searching. 450 Sb’s gets you a $5 Amazon gift card. You can also do surveys, polls, and tasks which can get you even more.

If I had more time to spend, I would definitely be racking up the points. But every little bit helps.

Where have you found to earn Amazon Gift cards? Post em below! (Christmas is coming!)

Quite a few people have asked me where to find coupons if they are not getting them straight from the restaurant/ store or their website. There are a few different ways. The easiest would be to just Google what you are looking for. Let’s say I am looking for a coupon for Joann’s fabric. I can google “Joann’s coupons” and come up with, for example, this selection from a blog called Mommy Saves Big. The other option, which has a very wide range of coupons is Retail Me Not. They have codes for online shopping or printable coupons. It’s pretty much the first place I go when I need a coupon and don’t have one. I don’t pay full price if I can afford it, and neither should you!

RetailMeNotWhat coupon site do you used to find savings? Answer below!

Craving BBQ? Once I discovered this place, I could not get enough of it.

First is the ambiance, with a rustic log cabin feel on the outside, you feel like you are eating country. But step inside and there are plenty of TV’s playing music videos, sports, or whatever random things happen to play on their own feed. Second is the food, of course! No trip is complete with an appetizer (or even main course) of Pretzel Bones with 3 different dipping sauces. I guarantee that you will have to order more than one because they go so fast. Other menu items include “make your own burgers” and some locations do have happy hour specials.

Lastly, check out their rewards! Join the “Bones Club” and you can start earning points towards free food as well as free appetizer just for joining. It did not take me long to rack up $20. Plus you can usually get $5-$10 off purchase coupons in the Orlando Sentinel Paper once a month. Check in on Foursquare and get a free appetizer of Kettle Chips. Plus check “Retail Me Not” for printable Smokey savings! Still more fun on Facebook and Twitter. So now you really have no excuse.
